Who is responsible
The controller of this personal website is Daniel Che (Portugal). For data questions, consent withdrawal and rights requests: daniel.che@peaceful-world.org. This is a separate personal website and does not use Peaceful World’s analytics.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) loads only with your consent. Before permission and after refusal, the Google tag does not load: no analytics cookies or cookieless analytics requests. Refusal does not restrict website access. Protected Biography, including its entrance, is entirely excluded from analytics.
What is measured
Allowlisted public page views, language, traffic sources, country and minimal Professional events: CV, contact, LinkedIn and project clicks, and case expansion. A PDF click records download intent, not confirmed file saving. Only predefined values are sent; names, email addresses, message content, search terms, arbitrary URL parameters and fragments are not sent. Google needs an IP address for network delivery and approximate country detection; this does not make the data fully anonymous.
Data retention and consent
GA4 user and event data are retained for 2 months without resetting the period on activity; aggregate standard reports may remain longer. For browser storage, cookie lifetimes and consent controls, see Cookies and local preferences. Withdrawing consent stops future collection but does not automatically erase data already collected.
Your choices and rights
Consent is voluntary and can be changed using the button below on Cookies and Privacy. You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction and, where applicable, portability. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including Portugal’s CNPD. Additional information may be needed to fulfil a request: this analytics does not store your name.
Providers and external services
GitHub Pages serves the website and may retain technical logs under GitHub’s policies. Google processes analytics after permission; processing may take place outside the EEA under applicable transfer mechanisms and provider terms. Some Professional thumbnails load from i.ytimg.com (Google) independently of analytics permission. Services opened through external links apply their own policies.
Advertising
Google Signals, advertising personalization, marketing pixels and remarketing are off. The advertising categories of Consent Mode v2 always remain denied. Analytics permission is not marketing permission.
